The Inner Challenge
Why Do We Keep Falling Back?
Addressing the Core Challenges of Fragmentation & Degeneration
You've attended workshops. Read the books. Started the practices. And fallen back to old patterns.
This is not a failure of will.
Think about what usually happens after you buy a course. You start strong. Then life happens, and it quietly sits there, unfinished. Not because you didn't care.
Modern life pulls us apart from within. Our education, our work, our always-on world fragments us across mind, heart, body and energy. And over time, each part degenerates quietly. The mind overloads. The heart closes. The energy scatters. The body follows habit.
When we are fragmented and depleted inside, even the most sincere seeking keeps circling the same ground.
The Way Forward
The Karmayogi path begins by understanding this honestly: mapping fragmentation, recognising degeneration, and finding the inner truth that begins to unify and regenerate it all.
That is what Sankalpa gives you. Not a quick fix, but a structured path to understand your inner life, reconnect with what matters and bring your deeper truth into everyday choices. The courses give you a map. Mentors and the Sangha give you guidance, reflection and support as you walk it.
Guided Support, When You Want It
Walk the Learning Path With Others
The courses and Sangha are yours from the day you join. When you want a clearer rhythm for completing the foundational path, you can also enter a two-month guided cohort.
A Shared Rhythm
A consistent group and regular touchpoints help you keep moving, even when everyday life becomes demanding.
Collective Learning
You learn from how others meet similar questions, deepen your own reflection and discover possibilities you may not have seen alone.
Integration and Completion
Reflection, sharing and a final integration space help the learning settle, so you can carry it into your choices, work and relationships.
The Learning Path
The Foundational Courses Within Sankalpa
These five self-paced courses form the heart of the membership. Together, they help you understand your inner instruments, clarify what matters, discover your direction and begin bringing it into everyday life.
Soul's Delight
See the five instruments through which you meet life: body, senses, energy, heart and mind. Recognise where they need care and where regeneration can begin.
Soul Values
Clarify what your soul genuinely cares for and shape a personal Soul Values Mandala to guide your decisions, relationships and daily life.
Soul-force
Discover your natural way of expressing in the world, with a psychometric assessment that reveals your strengths and the areas asking for development.
Swadharma
Trace the direction your life is asking you to walk and begin your Swadharma Charter: a living orientation for your work, relationships and choices.
Karmayoga
Learn to bring your Swadharma into everyday work through conscious action, aspiration, rejection and surrender. This is where inner clarity meets outer life.
Four Bonus Courses
Four deeper companion courses take you further into regeneration practices, advanced Soul-force mapping, and embodying your Swadharma in daily life.

When does the membership start?
Your membership begins as soon as your payment is complete. You will receive access to the five foundational courses, four bonus courses, the Purnam platform and Thursday community sessions.
While enrolling, select the guided cohort that currently suits you. You can change this choice after joining, and cohort participation remains optional.
Once I sign up, where can I access the course and live session links?
As soon as you enrol, you will receive an email and WhatsApp message with instructions to access the course platform and begin your journey.
You will also be invited to the Purnam Community WhatsApp group, where we share reminders and links for live sessions. Email reminders are sent too.
When your preferred cohort is approaching, we will confirm your participation and invite you to its dedicated WhatsApp group for Monday-session reminders, links and updates.
If you need help accessing the course or a session, contact us at support@purnamcommunity.in or on WhatsApp at +91 87001 05785.
How much time does this really take? I have other commitments as well.
Most members set aside around 3–4 hours a week when actively moving through Sankalpa.
The five foundational courses are self-paced, so you can move more lightly or deeply depending on your week.
If you participate in a guided cohort, the Monday session adds 90 minutes. Thursday sessions are optional, ongoing community spaces. You do not need to attend every live session to remain a member.
Is EMI available for the payment?
Yes, EMI is available for payments made via eligible credit cards and on HDFC debit cards.
Select the EMI option on the payment form, and after clicking Pay Now, you will be able to choose your preferred tenure, typically ranging from 3 to 24 months. A minor interest is charged by your card provider. The exact EMI amount will be shown before you confirm the payment.
If you do not have a credit card, please reach out to us via WhatsApp at +91 87001 05795 or email support@purnamcommunity.in, and we will see what may be possible.
Is this mainly theoretical or is there practical work?
Not at all. The course is designed to be dynamic in action and rooted in learning by doing.
Each lesson includes a short 5 to 10 minute video followed by reflection prompts, practical assignments, and real-life application. The focus is on observing your inner movements, working consciously through daily situations, and gradually aligning your actions with deeper clarity. The teachings are meant to be lived, not just understood.
Is this fully online or are there offline components?
The Sankalpa journey is primarily conducted online. All lessons, live sessions, Satsangs, and Sharing Circles are held virtually, and recordings are available on the platform.
Once or twice a year, we host in-person retreats in Auroville for those who wish to go deeper into the journey in a more immersive setting. These retreats require separate registration.
And if you happen to be visiting Auroville, do let us know. If schedules permit, we would be happy to meet fellow travellers of the path over tea, lunch, or dinner, and inform you about any in-person gatherings happening around that time.
What happens in the live sessions?
There are two live rhythms available within Sankalpa.
Thursday community sessions, from 8:00 to 9:30 PM IST, are open from the day you enrol. They include Satsangs, Sharing Circles, sessions with invited experts and senior practitioners, and special experiential workshops.
If you choose to participate in a guided cohort, Monday sessions, also from 8:00 to 9:30 PM IST, give you a shared rhythm for moving through the foundational path, reflecting together and bringing the teachings into practice.
All session recordings are available on the Purnam platform.
Who will be facilitating the live sessions?
The live Satsangs and group coaching spaces are facilitated by our co-founders Manoj Pavithran and Divyanshi Chugh, who guide the deeper reflections and inner inquiry of the journey.
Community Sharing Circles and guided cohort sessions are facilitated by Pooja Varshney and Surya Ravishankaran, creating spaces for reflection, shared learning and integration.
What if I miss any of the sessions? Will I get the recording?
Yes. Session recordings are available on the Purnam platform.
If you participate in a guided cohort, we encourage you to protect the seven Monday sessions as far as possible. Being present live lets you reflect with the people walking alongside you and take part in shared learning that a recording cannot fully capture.
If you need to miss a session, you can watch the recording and return to the next one. Missing a live session does not affect your membership or access.
I've done many courses before and fallen back. How is this different?
This is one of the most honest questions you can ask, and it deserves an honest answer.
Most courses work on the mind alone. Sankalpa begins differently by giving you a clear map of where fragmentation is happening across all five inner instruments. When you understand what is actually getting in the way, the work is no longer willpower against habit. It is clarity meeting the root.
But clarity alone is not enough. Sankalpa combines a structured self-paced path with guidance from mentors and an ongoing Sangha. Thursday sessions give you regular spaces for Satsangs, Sharing Circles and experiential learning. When you want a stronger rhythm for completion, the optional guided cohort lets you reflect and learn alongside fellow seekers.
We cannot promise you will never fall back. These are deep tendencies, and they are strong. What we can promise is that when you do, there is a system here to help you return, and a Sangha that will hold the space for you to begin again.
All we ask from you is a sincere effort and a willingness to show up. The path will meet you there.
Will there be personalised support?
While Sankalpa is not a one-on-one coaching programme by default, there are multiple spaces for guidance and mentorship throughout the journey.
If you participate in a guided cohort, our coaches are there in the Monday sessions to engage with your questions and help bring clarity to what you are working with.
Our live Satsangs function as group coaching spaces where you can ask your questions and receive direct guidance from the mentors. Many participants find that even when their specific question is not addressed individually, the shared exploration often brings the clarity they were seeking.
In addition, there is a dedicated space on the course platform where you can post your questions. Our mentors respond within 24 to 48 hours.
If you feel the need for deeper individualised support, paid one-on-one coaching is also available separately.
Will we learn any Hatha Yoga, meditation techniques or kriyas?
There is no Hatha Yoga practice or physical kriya component in this course.
At the heart of the membership is an inner psychological process. The primary practice is learning how to observe, refine, and transform your inner movements through conscious application in daily life. The journey focuses on integration rather than prescribing rituals, chanting, or specific external practices.
You will receive a meditation practice called Balm Meditation, designed by our co-founder Manoj Pavithran. It is a simple practice for calming the mind and heart, and for gently tuning into inner silence and stillness.
Along the way, you will also encounter many simple micro-practices woven throughout the course. These gentle practices help nurture and regenerate your being within the movements of daily life. Over time, you will gain clarity on which practices support you best at different stages of your journey.
Can I continue my existing meditation, practices, and kriyas? Do I need to change my guru or religion?
Absolutely. You are completely free to continue any spiritual or meditation practices, kriyas, or devotional practices you are already following. There is no requirement to adopt a new tradition, change your guru, or shift your religious affiliation in any way.
The Sankalpa membership draws its inspiration from the teachings of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother. However, you need not be a follower of Sri Aurobindo to walk this path. The inner psychological framework we offer is universal — it works alongside whatever tradition, practice, or teacher you are already rooted in.
Many members find their existing practices become significantly richer once they have a clearer inner map. When you understand your own inner nature — your instruments, your values, your soul type — you gain clarity on why certain practices resonate with you, and which ones are most aligned with who you are. The path deepens what you already have.
What is Purnam Community, where is it based, and when was it founded?
Purnam Community is a transformative learning centre founded by Divyanshi Chugh and Manoj Pavithran.
It is based in Auroville (near Pondicherry, Tamil Nadu) — the world’s first international city dedicated to Karmayoga and the ideal of human unity — and is an officially recognised unit of the Auroville Foundation, an autonomous body under the Government of India.
Rooted in the teachings of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother, we guide seekers through practical spirituality — offering experiential workshops, courses, and coaching that help them connect with their soul and its purpose, and come alive in their full potential as Karmayogis who embrace both the material and the spiritual.
With roots tracing back to 2012, Purnam has evolved into a dynamic learning ecosystem that brings together like-hearted seekers. Our mission is to train 50,000 Karmayogis who will carry the living spirit of India into the world.

Do you have centres in other cities?
At present, we do not have official centres in other cities. However, members of the Purnam Community are spread across many parts of the country.
From time to time, we facilitate in-person gatherings in different cities through senior community members or when our facilitators happen to visit those places. These gatherings allow members from that region to meet, share, and connect in person.
We also have a vibrant online community space where members can stay connected and even initiate local meet-ups with fellow participants nearby.
